Revelations 5: 10
And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.God has made us kings, we are to rule on earth and all other power are to submit to us (1Peter 2:13-14). This means as far as this earth is concerned, you are the highest in authority. The bible didn't say He has made us governors but He has made us kings.
For instance the governor of a state has authority but he is not the highest in authority. He is not higher than the President, the Vice or the Senate President, but he has authority. In Nigeria we have the Supreme Court which is the highest court; God is saying as far as earth is concerned, you're the highest in authority. Not only that you have authority, you're seated at the highest position of authority, as far as this earth is concerned.
So if you look above you there’s nothing you can see, there’s no negative thing you can see. If you want to look at sickness, death and poverty, you look down. You are a king and not a governor; you're seated at the highest position of authority. God wants us to reign!
Sometimes when most people think about rapture, they think that rapture is a rescue mission, after the devil has battered us and life has dealt with us, so Jesus will come and rescue us. This is not true; the rapture is a triumphant ascension, after we're gone the devil will be happy we're gone.
Ephesians 1: 19-23, 2:5-6
The bible showed us the position of Jesus Christ and also our position. When the bible was written it was not written in chapters and verses, it was men that sat down later to calibrate it for easy understanding. So Ephesians Chapter 1, 2 & 3 were all one letter Paul wrote to the Ephesians.
The Bible is saying when God raised Jesus from the dead, He raised us also from the dead; and when He quickened Him, He also quickened us. When He made him to sit, He made us to sit. When a man is raised from the dead, he doesn't leave his body behind and rise only with his head. You cannot raise the head and leave the body; so when the head was raised, the body was also raised. When the head sits the body also sits. Where the head sits is where the body sits.
If I want to know where I'm seated, all I need to do is to locate where the head sits, there I know I am seated. So when He set the head at His own right hand, He also set the body at His right hand, which is the highest position of authority. He also set the head far above principalities and powers, dominion, sickness and every name.
If barrenness and cancer is a name then we're seated far above them. You can’t understand ‘far above’ until you understand what is called lines of government, or (in the ministry) chains of command. In Nigeria the highest in authority is the President and after the President, is the Vice .
The president is above the Vice but not far above the Vice. After the Vice President is the Senate President, then the Speaker of the House, then the Chief Judge, then the Senators, then the house of Reps, the Governors, the Deputy Governor, the Speaker of the house, the House Members, Commissioners, Local Government Chairmen, Councillors and finally the Ward Leaders.
So the Bible is saying (that if you use Nigeria as an example), you are the President and the devil is in charge of wards, you're the President and sickness, barrenness are in charge of wards. You are the most high as long as this earth is concerned and you're confronting the most low. This is why the Bible said, "...resist the devil"; it didn’t say he'll walk away but he'll will flee away from you.
If you tell a common Councillor that the President is looking for him, he'll be troubled because the gap between him and the President is very wide. Just know that there’s tremendous gap between you and the things confronting you. Remember Christ is the head and we're the body and the feet is in the body. So if He says He has put all things under His feet, this means He has put all things under His body. Since the feet is the lowest part of the body, this means that the one that just got born again today can mesmerize the devil, circumstance or anything although He’s still new in the faith.
Everything is under you; so when you pray concerning situations use commanding prayer, stretch forth your rod of authority.
Declare this again:
- I am created to have Dominion
- I am created to be Above and not under
- I am created to Dominate and
- I am created to Govern.
