because you attracted it. Like iron fillings to a piece of magnet; you
attracted the events, situations and people in your life right now to yourself.
Whether you like to accept it or not, the law of attraction has always worked
and will always work in your life even without your permission, just as other
laws of the universe like the laws of gravity and sowing and reaping. Have you
ever suddenly turned back for no specific reason just to find yourself looking
straight into the eyes of someone who is also gazing intently at you several
meters away in a crowd? Or a call comes in from someone at the exact same
moment you were thinking about them? We all experience similar situations like
these every now and then. They are not mere coincidences but simple
manifestations of the law of attraction in its simplest form. The Law of
Attraction simply states that you can attract into your life whatever you think
about. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest. Whatever you focus
on, you will manifest in your life. No exceptions! It is a universal law of the
universe that cannot be broken, and applies to everyone regardless of their age
or nationality. Every thought has a frequency. Thoughts send out a magnetic
energy. That is what accounts for the scenarios discussed above. The fellow you
turned to look at in the crowd magnetized you through his/her thoughts just as
you attracted the call of your friend while you think about him/her. It also
accounts for why it doesn’t happen every time you think about people. They have
to be at the same thought frequency as you. However, if your thought vibration
is strong enough, you will attract them. You can attract wonderful people, good
health, enormous wealth and everything you want into your life. However, you
can also attract negative people, situations, and events in your life if you
give them your attention. In other words, you are a human magnet! When I was a
kid I observed that whoever was ill got more attention than everyone else in my
home. You can demand to eat whatever you like and get relieved of house chores
like dish washing and running errands. One day I decided to act sick. I lied
that I had a headache and forged other symptoms of malaria. To my surprise, I
started feeling those symptoms for real. When it was getting serious, my
parents took me to the clinic for treatments. I was tested and confirmed to
have malaria. Though I hated injections, I was injected and placed on drugs. At
that point, it was too late to confess my lies because it has become the
reality backed by medical evidences. As young as I was, I was terrified by how
things turned out because I knew for sure that I wasn’t sick before I claimed
to be. Think about what you don’t want and attract more of the same. Now here
is the catch. The law of attraction responds to whatever vibration you are
offering, by giving you more of what you are vibrating. It doesn’t decide
whether it is good for you or not, it simply responds to your vibrations. Just
like I attracted malaria, you attract into your life whatever you give your
energy, focus, and attention to, whether wanted or unwanted. For instance, if
you constantly fight poverty in your mind and constantly say things like “I
hate poverty” because truly abhor it, you are merely attraction more poverty!
Your subconscious mind does not have the ability to filter what is negative or
positive for you, it just attracts the most dominant thoughts on your mind to
you. The process is even catalyzed when you power it with great emotions or
feelings such as hate or anger. It is simple; if you don’t want poverty, focus
on abundance. If you don’t want bad relationships, focus on positive ones.
Learn to project only what you want every time. In conclusion, like attract
like. You become and attract what you think.
“As a man thinketh in his heart,
so is he”.
It is true life is imperfect. But you can learn to use the awesome
power of your mind to create your own world.

What do you want in your life this year? Think
about them right now. Write them down. Paint those pictures until they become
so clear you can feel it. Dwell on them so much and have them become the
predominant thoughts on your mind. This is where action begins. Visualize! See
it, feel it! Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is
in the process of becoming. It might not be easy at first. The contrast of what
you want and your present reality will taunt you for a while, but then your
mind is also a creator of habits. Your new picture will soon begin to settle in
and eventually become your reality. The law of attraction will give you
whatever you want.
